Romanowski Will Not Be Pursued by Interpol

Former Deputy Justice Minister in the PiS government, Marcin Romanowski, will not be subject to a red notice from Interpol, a reporter for RMF FM has learned.

Romanowski left Poland for Budapest, where he has been granted asylum by Hungary. The Hungarian government determined that, under the current circumstances, he would not be guaranteed a fair trial in Poland.

RMF FM reports that Interpol has declined to issue a red notice for the politician. The international organization refused to add him to its list of most-wanted individuals.
