Russia Paid for “Eight Stars” – Report Exposes Shocking Manipulation. Mariusz Kamiński Demands Investigation

A new analysis by Stanisław Żaryn, based on the TVN24 report “Rabota w Polsze”, reveals disturbing evidence of Russian interference in Poland’s political scene. According to Żaryn, the report “exposes the massive manipulation orchestrated under Donald Tusk’s government” and confirms long-standing suspicions about foreign influence in the country’s internal affairs.

PiS Took a Tough Stance on Russian Subversion – The New Government Weakened It

The findings highlight a crucial difference between the approach taken by the previous Law and Justice (PiS) government and that of the current administration. Under PiS leadership, Polish security services were highly effective in countering “Russian intelligence operations and acts of sabotage and diversion.” However, following the opposition’s rise to power, the security strategy shifted from proactive prevention to passive reaction, creating a dangerous opening for foreign influence.

Żaryn emphasized that during PiS rule, Russia aggressively expanded its intelligence operations against Poland, engaging in acts of sabotage, diversion, and asymmetric warfare. Yet, instead of strengthening national security, Tusk’s coalition has chosen to attack the very tools and technologies that had been instrumental in protecting the country. The shift in approach, Żaryn warns, is playing directly into Moscow’s hands.

Russian Money Funded the Anti-PiS Campaign

One of the most alarming aspects of this revelation is the role that Russian intelligence allegedly played in fueling internal political strife.

“Russian intelligence paid for personal attacks on the President of Poland and promoted the vulgar slogan ‘J…ć PiS’ (eng. ‘F..k PiS) The so-called ‘Eight Stars’ movement, characterized by its crude and aggressive rhetoric, was a central part of the opposition’s campaign against the PiS government. Now, these same forces have taken control of the country,

” Żaryn wrote.

He added that the TVN24 report presents clear evidence supporting what had long been suspected.

“Russia had a clear goal: to overthrow Poland’s conservative government. And they didn’t just support this effort—they financed it on a massive scale,”

Żaryn stated.

Kamiński: The European Commission Must Act

Former Interior Minister Mariusz Kamiński has taken immediate action in response to these shocking revelations. He called out the European Commission for its failure to address Russian interference, stating:

“The disclosure of evidence proving that Putin’s regime funded a campaign against the Law and Justice government and President Duda is deeply alarming. Even more concerning is the European Commission’s apparent susceptibility to Russian manipulation—especially its defence of Paweł Rubcow in the so-called rule-of-law report and its failure to take any steps to investigate these grave allegations.”

Kamiński has now submitted a formal inquiry to the Commission, demanding answers.

“I am asking the Commission whether it intends to investigate lobbying efforts that targeted the previous PiS government and whether it will examine possible connections between these efforts and other Kremlin-backed campaigns,

 he announced.

The former minister also published the full text of his inquiry, signalling that the fight for truth and national sovereignty is far from over.
