Russian spy Pavel Rubtsov’s Spanish separatist ties revealed

It is no longer a secret that GRU Colonel Pavel Rubtsov – more widely known in Poland as Pablo Gonzalez – who was detained in late February 2022 by the services under the Law and Justice government, supported the then “progressive” opposition. But not everyone knows that Rubtsov/Gonzalez also had close ties to Spanish separatists, who have been linked to Putin’s Russia for years. And just before his detention – according to unofficial information – thanks to the Pegasus system, an attack began on countries using the system, which was also supposed to be used to surveil Rubtsov’s Catalan friends.
