“Entirely unlawfully, contrary to the constitution, the law, and common sense, Mr. Jan Grabiec, a minister and right-hand man to Donald Tusk, ordered us to return all funds allocated for the training of election observers and members of electoral commissions,” Tomasz Sakiewicz said on air at TV Republika.
Tomasz Sakiewicz, president of TV Republika, who is currently attending CPAC in Texas, stated during the broadcast that another attack on the House of Free Speech had taken place.
“On Monday, the Niezależna Media Foundation will issue an official statement. In a completely unlawful manner, contrary to the constitution, the law, and common sense, Mr. Jan Grabiec, minister and right-hand man of Donald Tusk, ordered us to return all the funds for training election observers and members of electoral commissions,”
Sakiewicz said in the TV Republika studio in Dallas.
He added that the matter concerns a project that had been carried out, settled, and completed several years ago. The station’s president emphasized that the reason was not any fault on the part of the contractor, but rather the claim that the Foundation had no right to conduct such training.
Attack on the House of Free Speech
“Why is this happening? Because until recently, the Foundation was the main source of support for TV Republika,”
Sakiewicz noted.
He also stated that in the past several dozen hours, a coordinated attack had been carried out against companies and foundations associated with the station.
