Sakiewicz Under Surveillance by the Security Services. “Tusk Is Taking Revenge for Breaking the Monopoly”

The December 13 Coalition is returning to the methods of the final days of martial law, said Jacek Kurski, commenting on reports that the head of TV Republika, Tomasz Sakiewicz, is being surveilled by the security services. The former head of TVP, now a PiS politician, believes such actions are being carried out because Prime Minister Donald Tusk thinks they will go unpunished.

As the portal Niezalezna.pl revealed today, during a secret session of the Sejm, Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke, among other things, about the sponsorship of CPAC Poland by Zondacrypto. Using what were described as absurd speculations, he allegedly referred several times to TV Republika.

After the classified portion of the session concluded, opposition MPs stated unequivocally that they had no doubt that TV Republika’s president, Tomasz Sakiewicz, “is being surveilled by the security services.” “Today, the special services are being used for political combat,” emphasized Bartosz Kownacki in the Sejm.

“A Return to the People’s Republic”

The topic of Sakiewicz’s surveillance by the security forces was raised on the program “Miłosz Kłeczek Invites”, which featured former TVP president Jacek Kurski as a guest. In his view, such actions are being carried out because Tusk “cannot accept losing his monopoly.”

“This is the December 13 Coalition, returning to the methods from the end of martial law—surveillance, terror, attacks on society, on the opposition, criminalization and brutalization of the crackdown on the opposition, breaking the law, breaking the constitution. PRL-style. Czarzasty, a symbol of the PRL, as the number two person in the country […] In short, a return of the PRL, and thus the surveillance of Tomasz Sakiewicz as the head of a large media outlet,” he said.

“Welcome to the Club”

“Welcome to the club,” Kurski added. The PiS politician claimed that he, too, is being surveilled.

“I found out myself that one of my acquaintances had been taken over by the current security apparatus and recorded me during the election campaign. So these people use typical secret-police methods—ruthless, brutal. They will steal medical records; they even stole documentation from the metropolitan court in personal matters. They are simply bandits,” he stated.

According to Kurski, the authorities are willing to resort to such measures because they believe they have been promised impunity.

“Tusk promised all these people—all the Żureks, all the Domańskis—impunity. He guaranteed it to them. After all, they are committing constitutional and criminal offenses so vile that they could expose them to many years in prison. To do something like this, you really have to believe in impunity,” he said.

“He Believes in Impunity in the Case of Surveillance of Tomasz Sakiewicz”

“He believes just as strongly in the impunity of this surveillance operation against Tomasz Sakiewicz. He is convinced that they will manage to rig the elections with the help of external intervention and by crushing the opposition. They want to put all the leaders of Law and Justice in prison,” Kurski declared.
