Scandal in Wałbrzych: 500 Ballots Missing. Alarming Reports from Warsaw and London

Nearly 500 ballots have disappeared from Precinct Electoral Commission No. 25 in Wałbrzych, the National Electoral Office (KBW) confirmed to the Niezalezna.pl news outlet. Meanwhile, serious voting irregularities have also been reported from Warsaw and from polling stations abroad — including the United Kingdom and Canada.

According to the official protocol, Commission No. 25 in Wałbrzych received 1,705 ballots. Of these, 936 were issued to voters, and 271 remained unused. That leaves 498 ballots unaccounted for — a discrepancy documented in the official report, which was made available to the public. Local media took up the story, and Niezalezna.pl confirmed the details with the regional branch of the National Electoral Office, which acknowledged these significant irregularities.

The KBW confirmed that nearly 500 ballots are missing. Police have been notified and an investigation is underway.

Rafał Trzaskowski won the vote in Wałbrzych’s Commission No. 25.

Problems in Warsaw and Abroad

Concerning reports have also emerged from Warsaw’s Bielany district. One woman, despite being registered in the electoral roll there for years, was told she could not vote at her usual polling station. Instead, commission members directed her to a completely different location — where she had once voted years ago using a temporary certificate. Another person was told they couldn’t vote anywhere in Warsaw, as they had allegedly been removed from the registry.

A similar situation occurred at Precinct Electoral Commission No. 395 located in the Polish Social and Cultural Centre in London. Voters contacted Niezalezna.pl to report disturbing issues.

“When we arrived at the polling place, my husband and I discovered that we were not listed, despite registering correctly in advance. Dozens of others faced the same problem,” said one Polish voter in London. Trzaskowski also won by a significant margin at this polling station.

Similar irregularities were reported in Toronto, where at least two registered voters were denied the right to cast their ballot.
