“Senior+”: President Andrzej Duda and PM Mateusz Morawiecki Visit Seniors

President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, along with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, made a visit to the “Senior+” Day Center in Wola Karczewska, where a press conference on senior support, including the “14th pension” program, was held. Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, and Minister in the President’s Office, Piotr Ćwik, also participated in the meeting.

President Duda emphasized that the recently enacted “14th pension” law would allow seniors to pursue their passions, like at the center in Wola Karczewska. He expressed satisfaction in signing the government-initiated law, ensuring that the 14th pension would be a regular benefit received annually by seniors. He commended the increasing number of places with diverse offerings for retirees in Poland, attributing this development to effective cooperation with the government and Prime Minister Morawiecki.

President Duda acknowledged that seniors are invaluable treasures of the nation, serving as role models for both parents and grandchildren in building a strong Republic. After years of fighting for a free Poland, he stressed the importance of providing the elderly with dignified living conditions. The Polish government takes pride in meeting this challenge and providing deserving benefits to seniors.
