Videos circulating on the internet from “our prime minister’s” Kyiv excursion—during which he travelled to Ukraine’s capital in a separate rail car, far from Europe’s real leaders—reveal not merely indifference but outright contempt the Germans allegedly showed Tusk. At least, that is how internet users sharing the telling footage interpret it.
“I might even feel sorry for Tusk, were it not for the realisation that the Germans’ contempt for him is tied to the scale of his vileness toward Poles, in Germany’s interest,” commented Emilia Kamińska about the Kyiv trip.
“Rebuilding Poland’s international prestige after this man’s rule will take decades,” assessed Zygfryd Czaban.
