Footage of a 34-year-old Georgian man racing through Lublin on a quad bike is chilling. Pedestrians had to scatter to avoid the man fleeing from the police. A decision will now be made on whether he will have to leave Poland.
Criminal officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Lublin detained the 34-year-old Georgian national, who, while fleeing from police officers on a quad bike in the center of Lublin, posed a serious threat to the safety of other road users, the Lublin police reported.
Pedestrians had to flee from sidewalks and promenades as the man was driving at high speed into areas where traffic is prohibited.
Will he have to leave Poland?
During the inspection, it turned out that the 34-year-old was banned from driving all vehicles. The man has been charged. PLN 20,000 was secured from him towards a future penalty.
Police officers have also submitted a request to the Border Guard to issue a decision obliging the foreign national to leave Poland.
