Sunday Voting: Karol Nawrocki Casts His Ballot in His Hometown of Gdańsk

Karol Nawrocki, one of the thirteen candidates vying for the office of President, arrived at a polling station in Gdańsk, where he was accompanied by his family during the voting process. After casting his ballot, he addressed the media with a brief statement.

“It is worthwhile to take responsibility for Poland, and therefore I encourage everyone to choose their candidate and participate in the elections. This is of great importance, as we are shaping our own future,”

he emphasized.

When asked about his expectations regarding voter turnout, Nawrocki noted that he does not engage in electoral forecasting.

“I am carrying out my mission, and that is where my focus lies,”

he stated.

Voting Underway. Electoral Silence in Effect Until 9:00 PM

The first round of the presidential election began at 7:00 AM and will continue until 9:00 PM. Until that time, electoral silence is in force, prohibiting campaigning and the publication of election polls.

Voter turnout and the course of the election are being monitored by the National Electoral Commission. At 7:50 PM, viewers are invited to join the election evening program on TV Republika, which will feature interviews, analyses, discussions, and—after 9:00 PM—the results of the exit poll.
