Polish tennis sensation Iga Swiatek has been on fire in the WTA tournament in Rome, starting her campaign spectacularly by not dropping a single game to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. With a crushing 6:0, 6:0 victory over the Russian player Swiatek moved on to the third round where she faced a tough opponent in Lesia Tsurenko.
In the early stages of the match, things didn’t look good for Iga Swiatek as Lesia Tsurenko got off to a fantastic start by breaking Swiatek’s serve in the opening game and holding her own serve. However, once Swiatek found her rhythm and warmed up, she quickly regained her form and began making some exceptional plays. She broke Tsurenko’s serve three times and won six consecutive games to close out the first set with a score of 6:2.
In the second set, Swiatek continued her impressive performance. Swiatek dominated the court, leaving her opponent with little chance in almost every exchange. The Polish player did not allow Tsurenko to win a single game in the second set, finishing with an impressive 6:0 scoreline.
