“Europe has become woke,” U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday. He stressed, however, that this does not apply to all countries. Among the exceptions, he mentioned Poland.
“I want Europe to strengthen up. Europe has gone woke. Europe is not recognizable,” Trump stated at a press conference, responding to questions about relations with Europe, considering the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the majority of the tariffs he had introduced.
Trump emphasized that this does not concern every country.
“Look at Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia… Some countries have gone very much the opposite,”
he added.
“But Europe has to be strong, and it became soft and unrecognizable. You go to certain countries, I don’t want to name them specifically, but I think everyone knows what I’m talking about, and they are not recognizable. Environmentalists are taking them over. Wind turbines are destroying their fields, beautiful meadows, and oceans. They’re paying a fortune,”
he said.
“Europe has to get smart. Two things will kill it: energy and immigration,” the President of the United States declared.
