Nicolas Maduro was Putin’s contact in South America. “It is very good that this happened – America is regaining its power,” Ryszard Majdzik, an anti-communist opposition activist during the Polish People’s Republic, said on air on TV Republika, commenting on Saturday’s American operation in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
On Saturday, U.S. forces carried out an operation in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, and other cities across the country, capturing the Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, who is linked to drug cartels, as well as his wife. The couple were transported to the United States, where on Monday they are to appear before a court in New York, among other charges related to participation in a narco-terrorist conspiracy. Maduro faces a sentence ranging from 30 years in prison to life imprisonment.
Today on TV Republika, the American operation was commented on by Ryszard Majdzik, a legendary anti-communist opposition activist.
“It is very good that this happened – America is regaining its power. It is showing that it is a global power and that it will not allow Putin’s contact to continue humiliating the American nation – that is, the drug mafia supplying narcotics and destroying the fabric of American society,” he said.
He added that “they also showed Putin where his place is in the ranks, that they will not allow Putin’s imperial policy to destroy what America has built so far (…). A beautiful operation – one must admire the ingenuity of American soldiers. I am happy that I lived to see such a moment,” Majdzik said.
