“You show with your presence here that football is not only a male domain. You are a model of determination, feminine strength, and friendship,” said Marta Nawrocka to young female footballers at the opening of the tournament in Tarnobrzeg.
The 4th Subcarpathian Women’s Football Festival is taking place in Tarnobrzeg. Players of almost all age categories took to the local sports fields. The youngest participants were under 9 years old. The organizers also announced a “moms and seniors” category.
At this special celebration of women’s sport, the First Lady appeared publicly in her new role for the first time. Marta Nawrocka wished the participants success and the fulfillment of their sporting dreams, speaking about beautiful matches, goals, and wonderful emotions.

“It is impossible not to mention the women’s national football team. We can watch our players on international stages. They are an inspiration for many girls like you,” she added.
