A major success of the government? A loan under the SAFE agreement. That is what Civic Platform MEP Bartosz Arłukowicz claims. A few days ago, during a live interview, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, Poland’s Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, mocked the “reforms” of the very government she serves in. According to the Polska 2050 Party politician, the government cannot boast any major success.
“The Biggest Success” – SAFE
Bartosz Arłukowicz, an MEP from Civic Platform (KO), holds a different view, as he said today on Radio Zet.
“Today we have a signed agreement. I believe this is one of the biggest – if not the biggest – successes of the government, perhaps aside from the National Recovery Plan, or actually comparable to it. I have heard the debate that has taken place in recent days and weeks in public media and other outlets. Some people, even members of our coalition, had certain doubts. They mentioned that they do not see any reforms or strategic solutions introduced by this government,” he said.
He added, “I do see them – I will not list them all – but I consider SAFE to be one of such solutions.”
