“The ‘Problems’ of Mainstream Media: ‘Is Republika Ruling Poland?'”

Emotions are still running high after Friday’s debate in Końskie, where Republika TV was one of the organizers. This is evidenced by today’s article in Onet, featuring an interview between a journalist from a German news portal and Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, an MP from the Civic Coalition (KO). One question stood out: “Will we reach a point where Republika is ruling Poland?” See for yourselves!

In today’s conversation between Onet’s journalist and Kluzik-Rostkowska, the focus was primarily on the debates in Końskie. Beyond praise for how “well Trzaskowski performed” and how “poorly Karol Nawrocki did,” attention eventually turned to Republika. After all, the station from the House of Free Speech was one of the debate’s organizers—where Deputy PM Tusk did not appear.

At one point, the Onet journalist asked Kluzik-Rostkowska: “For a moment, I wondered if we’ll reach a point where TV Republika is ruling the country? Because that’s how it looked on Friday.”

For those mainstream media journalists concerned about this turn of events, we have some “unpleasant” (for them) news. On Friday (April 11), TV Republika was the most-watched TV station among all others—not just news channels. That day, the station broadcast the presidential debate held in Końskie!

Republika’s share in the media market reached 10.83%! Moreover, the station’s YouTube channel alone recorded 2 million views on Friday.
