“They Can’t Accept Defeat, So They Invent ‘Fraud’ Theories.” Błaszczak: “A Gang of Failures and Liars”

“Their campaign was supported by shady foundations, financed with even shadier money. And still, they lost. Now they have the audacity to claim the election was rigged. A gang of failures and liars!” — declared PiS MP Mariusz Błaszczak, reacting to accusations from Civic Coalition politicians and the “Silni Razem” movement regarding alleged presidential election fraud.

Allegations of “Fraud”. Błaszczak Responds

In the presidential election, the Law and Justice-backed candidate Karol Nawrocki secured victory with 50.89% of the vote. His rival, Civic Coalition’s Rafał Trzaskowski, received 49.11%.

Immediately following the official results announcement by the National Electoral Commission (PKW), politicians affiliated with the December 13 coalition and the “Silni Razem” group began spreading claims of possible voting irregularities. However, detailed analyses showed that the identified errors in polling station protocols were incidental and occurred both in favor of and against each candidate — their scale nowhere near enough to affect the outcome achieved by Nawrocki.

MP Błaszczak published his reaction online, condemning the actions and rhetoric of the opposition.

“First, they illegally stripped us of funding to hinder our campaign. Then they mobilized the entire state apparatus against Karol — the police, prosecutors, Supreme Audit Office, intelligence services, NASK, and the media. Later, their campaign was supported by dubious foundations bankrolled by even more questionable sources. And still, they lost,” he reminded.

He added: “Now they have the nerve to claim the elections were rigged.”

“A gang of failures and liars!” he concluded.
