President Ends Farmers’ Meeting with a Smile: “I Can’t Resist This”

“Polish farmer, Polish field, Polish bread on a Polish table,” said President Karol Nawrocki to farmers in the town of Krąpiel (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). There, he signed another draft bill, which will soon be sent to the Sejm.

President Karol Nawrocki is visiting Krąpiel today in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Before addressing those gathered, he signed an initiative for the draft bill Protection of the Polish Countryside.

“I agree with you – Poland has won. Thanks to you, I am the president of Poland today. For every vote, for every act of commitment, I thank you. Today, the president of Poland is saying clearly that he stands with Polish farmers. This will not change for the next five years,” he told his supporters.

“For Poland to be safe, it must be safe militarily and defensively, it must have strong soldiers; it must be safe in terms of energy; it must be safe in civil terms,” Nawrocki said.

He stressed that “Poland will never be safe without food securityAnd that is the responsibility of the Polish farmer – just like the Polish soldier.”

As he explained, “the bill on the protection of the Polish countryside already calls on the Polish parliamentary majority and the government to extend the moratorium on the sale of Polish land”.

“Polish land should be in the hands of Polish farmers and the resources of the Polish state. This is very important for our food security,” he continued.

He assured that “the president of Poland is not here to serve the German economic interest”.

“In thanking you for being here, I can’t resist repeating the campaign slogan – one I have never spoken publicly as the President of Poland: Polish farmer, Polish field, Polish bread on a Polish table,”

he concluded.
