“While I’m in Brussels fighting for Poland’s interests and security, the government in Poland is serving Brussels’ interests and letting in illegal immigrants!” thundered Mateusz Morawiecki (Law and Justice party) on X. “Time to chase them out!” added the former prime minister, attaching a video to his post.
The shared video includes a segment from the Border Protection Movement, showing six Somali migrants who have already crossed into Poland from Germany. “How did you get to Germany? By boat. So — you didn’t come here from Belarus,” says the person filming the video.
“Our Border Guard cannot simply act as a taxi service, picking up various illegal migrants from our German neighbors,” Morawiecki says in the video.
He then calls for providing the Border Guard with the necessary tools to block the flow of illegal migrants coming also from the German side.
A doctor who has examined such migrants also appears in the video, expressing concern about the situation.
