In a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for November 27th, the cornerstone will be laid for the construction of Gorzow’s largest shopping park to date. Nestled on the northern outskirts of the city at Walczaka Street, this expansive project by a Belgian family-owned company promises to redefine the retail landscape. Covering 25,000 square meters, the park will host approximately 40 stores arranged around an extensive parking facility accommodating up to 800 cars.
Representatives of the investor, who recently unveiled a slightly smaller facility in Andrychow in 2021, anticipate introducing brands not yet present in Gorzow. The park is poised to generate employment for several hundred individuals.
City officials anticipate a transformative impact on the northern part of Gorzow, with hopes that the benefits will extend beyond local residents. The park’s name will be revealed during the cornerstone ceremony at Gorzow’s municipal office today. The project is slated for completion in the third quarter of the coming year.
