Tried to attack Nawrocki, ended up ridiculed. Internet slams Zembaczyński after failed stunt

How many times can someone miss their calling? That’s the question many are asking after stumbling upon a short video posted Thursday by MP Witold Zembaczyński of the Nowoczesna party. This time, he didn’t settle for merely sharing hateful content from others. Driven by a sudden burst of creativity, he decided to act. The results speak for themselves.

Though the video is only nine seconds long, it’s immediately clear why Zembaczyński never became an actor.

With a performance like that, he wouldn’t earn a living even playing background characters. Online commentators were ruthless, tearing apart his latest “performance” without mercy.

“Cringe of the year. If that’s what the pancake ads looked like, no wonder you ended up like this,” we read in a tweet commenting on an unsuccessful pancake business of the politician.

Although the would-be actor now plays little more than a pawn on Poland’s political stage, his flair for theatrics seems to persist. Whether it’s his dramatic speeches in the Sejm, his infamous flight from former justice minister Zbigniew Ziobro—whom he was supposed to question in the Pegasus inquiry—or his controversial act of stomping on a pancake during a press conference, Zembaczyński continues to blur the line between politics and performance.
