Tusk did not hold out for long. He started stirring things up again. It’s about drones over Poland

Just a few days ago, Donald Tusk assured everyone of the unity between the government and the president. From the parliamentary podium, he appealed to refrain from political divisions regarding the Russian drones that entered Poland. Now he couldn’t resist and wrote that PiS and Confederation “are doing everything they can to remove Russia’s responsibility for the September 10 attack.”

Polls continue to show that Civic Platform has no chance of governing on its own. Numerous public opinion surveys clearly indicate that even the current coalition partners of those in power would not make it into the Sejm.

This was probably one of the reasons that prompted Tusk to return to party politics based on manipulating social emotions. The flashpoint was supposed to be the drones that violated Polish airspace. Both the government and the presidential center (together with BBN) made it clear that the downed unmanned aircraft were Russian.

The Prime Minister himself appealed against spreading disinformation, urged reliance on official sources of information, and declared that cooperation between the government and the president was taking place in an atmosphere of unity and collaboration. From the parliamentary podium, Tusk called for refraining from political divisions on security issues. Only a few days later, Tusk himself started dividing. “Within PiS and Confederation there is a debate on whether the drones were a provocation by Ukraine, the Polish government, or a mistake. Contrary to what Polish services, the military, the president, and the prime minister are saying. They are doing everything they can to remove Russia’s responsibility for the September 10 attack. Let us imagine their government in the event of aggression,” he wrote in a post on platform X.

Merciless comments. “He lasted 3 days”

Under the post, users of the platform reminded him that when Russia attacked Ukraine in 2022, PiS was in power in Poland. “From the beginning they supported Ukraine, and Prime Minister Morawiecki and President Duda very actively lobbied to deliver aid to Ukraine,” one comment read. Radosław Fogiel pointed out that Tusk “never misses a chance to stir up trouble.”

Mariusz Błaszczak reminded how the current Prime Minister behaved during his previous term, pointing out, among other things, his attitude toward Vladimir Putin and the doctrine of defending Poland along the Vistula River.

“If the same situation as September 10 had occurred under a PiS government, Donald Tusk would have unleashed a political hell that would 100% fulfill Putin’s expectations – chaos, destabilization, and deepening internal conflict,” he added. Olga Semeniuk-Patkowska recalled the words of the PiS chairman, who clearly stated the Russian origin of the drones over Poland.

There were more comments, and none of them spared the Prime Minister.
