Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz stated on TV Republika that a division within the government is evident, with Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz willing to cooperate, while Tusk and his associates are not. Tusk claims that Cenckiewicz does not hold security clearance, and therefore does not have access to classified information, which effectively means that the Prime Minister does not recognize the ruling of the Voivodeship Administrative Court in Warsaw. On June 17, the court overturned the decision by the Military Counterintelligence Service, which had revoked Cenckiewicz’s security clearance in July 2024.
Tusk is already attacking the President’s Chancellery
Sławomir Cenckiewicz said in a conversation with Miłosz Kłeczek that “we will be considering how to operate under wartime conditions.”
“After all, the National Security Bureau (BBN) is the institution that analyzes security situations under all circumstances, in times of peace, in times of threat, and also during war. So, in a sense, we are specialized in organizing our activities accordingly, more broadly, the activities of the President’s Chancellery, the entire presidential office, so that we are able to manage in such conditions,” he emphasized.
“Do you remember, Mr. Editor, how just recently, a few days ago, on one of the liberal TV stations, Prime Minister Tusk said he wouldn’t allow President Karol Nawrocki to dismantle his government? Pardon me, no one wants to dismantle his government. But someone does seem to want to dismantle the President’s office, with announcements about starving the presidential office of funding, that is, cutting the budget for next year, the autumn one and current budget proposals. The entire presidential office, including likely the BBN, is being targeted, along with claims that the President has no competencies whatsoever. (…) This entire, essentially slanderous campaign by Mr. Tomczyk and a few other political hitmen, who clearly have been tasked with attacking my humble person,”
he remarked.
