Karol Nawrocki, a candidate for the presidency of Poland, met with residents of Gdynia, where he commented on the current political situation in the country, including the speeches given the previous day by Donald Tusk and Rafał Trzaskowski.
“Yesterday, Prime Minister Tusk gave his ‘exposé,’ as you all know. We have waited 20 years for this politician to understand that Putin is a threat—despite the fact that the late Lech Kaczyński warned about this back in 2009. He has now realized that we need to arm ourselves! This is the same man who dismantled 600 military units before 2015. The man who made a pact with Putin—about which books are being written,”
Nawrocki enumerated. He then declared, “Tusk is a liar.”
However, he did not only speak about the leader of the Civic Platform (PO) but also about his deputy. “Yesterday, Trzaskowski accosted me. He said: ‘Imagine Nawrocki as president, meeting with Trump, with dumbbells in his bag,’” recalled the presidential candidate, who is supported by the Law and Justice party (PiS).
“And Mr. Rafał, I want to respond to you: Donald Trump will not be interested in my dumbbells in a bag, nor in your nail file and makeup set in your dressing case. Donald Trump will not care that your briefcase contains yet another catalog on the construction of the Trzaskowski Museum or plans to turn my capital into a Green Deal laboratory. Donald Trump will not be interested in the fact that you are carrying plans for building a public restroom for 650,000 zlotys. Nor will he be concerned that you have designs for a relaxation zone filled with wood shavings in your briefcase,”
Nawrocki retorted.
“Donald Trump will be interested in the fact that when he meets Karol Nawrocki, a person who represents the interests of Polish men and women. But when he meets you, he will know that he is meeting Tusk’s deputy—the very man who insulted him,”
Nawrocki told Trzaskowski.
