Prime Minister Donald Tusk, commenting on what Karol Nawrocki said to a TVN24 reporter, wrote about a “Russian swamp.” “We were dragged into a Russian swamp by Schröder, Merkel, and you as their loyal subordinate. You created Putin, with whom you cooperated enthusiastically,” replied Przemysław Czarnek (PiS).
The President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, met on Monday in Przemyśl with the President of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok. The presidents delivered statements, after which a TVN24 reporter asked a question: “Does Orbán’s closeness with Putin not bother you?” The question was asked by a representative of the station based on Wiertnicza Street.
“What do you want to ask? Did you not listen to the press conference? Did you not hear what I think about Vladimir Putin? You produced reports claiming Putin is after me? Pull yourself together and listen to what the president is saying! Vladimir Putin is a criminal, do you understand? Goodbye!”
President Nawrocki replied.
Donald Tusk’s reaction followed quickly:
“Please do not shout at journalists, Mr. Nawrocki. It is not they who got you into this Russian swamp,”
wrote the head of government.
Tusk was then answered by Law and Justice’s candidate for prime minister, Przemysław Czarnek.
“We were dragged into a Russian swamp by Schröder, Merkel, and you as their loyal subordinate. You created Putin, with whom you cooperated very closely. The same Putin who today is pursuing not you, but President Nawrocki. These are simple facts,”
he commented.
The head of BNN, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, in turn, posted the cover of the book “Zgoda” (Eng. Agreement), which he co-authored with Michał Rachoń.
“I described your, your foreign minister’s, and the deputy head of the Military Counterintelligence Service’s Russian swamp up to your neck in detail here. Moreover, based on documents that you yourself produced,”
he wrote.
