Tusk Nearly Fled from Trzaskowski’s Election Night. “This Is His Final and Irrevocable Political End”

Donald Tusk reportedly made a swift exit from Rafał Trzaskowski’s election night event, refusing to comment even to TVN. Today, commentators point out that following Rafał Trzaskowski’s defeat in the election, the time has come for the resignation of the Prime Minister.

Tusk is said to have quickly withdrawn from Trzaskowski’s election evening, declining to speak even to TVN. Commentators now argue that after Trzaskowski’s defeat in the election, the resignation of the government leader is inevitable.

Although exit polls indicated a very slight difference between the two candidates and gave Trzaskowski a marginal lead, the Civic Coalition (KO) candidate did not hesitate to declare himself the new president.

Tusk Fled the Evening

The morning brought Trzaskowski a cold shower. After 100 percent of the votes were counted, Karol Nawrocki emerged as the winner of the second round of the presidential election, securing 50.89 percent of the vote.

According to TVN24, Tusk quickly left Trzaskowski’s election event and reportedly assessed that “it wasn’t worth giving a speech.”

“Even we, as reporters, didn’t manage to ask the Prime Minister anything. He just left immediately after Trzaskowski’s speech,”

said Agata Adamek, a reporter for the station, live on air.

The End of Tusk’s Career?

This comes as no surprise—commentators argue that the Prime Minister is one of the main figures responsible for his political camp’s defeat in the presidential election. It was repeatedly emphasized that this vote was a kind of referendum on the government.

“This is the political end of Donald Tusk—final and irrevocable. In my opinion, the only option left for the anti-PiS coalition is now a constructive vote of no confidence, which the Constitution allows. That means quickly finding a new Prime Minister. Otherwise, PSL will walk away,”

predicts Michał Kuź.

Tomasz Żółciak of money.pl also speculates whether a change in the head of government might be imminent.

“The biggest loser here is Donald Tusk, and this is the beginning of his end. He knows it—that’s why he didn’t show up,”

commented Stanisław Janecki.
