TV Republika becomes the media patron of the Independence March. The station’s president comments

TV Republika has signed an agreement with the Independence March. “We are taking media patronage over the march,” announced the station’s president, Tomasz Sakiewicz. The television network promises exceptional coverage of the event.

Just over a week remains before the great march in Warsaw. After years of covering this initiative by the media of the Free Speech Zone, a new stage of cooperation has begun. The news was shared on air by TV Republika president Tomasz Sakiewicz.

“TV Republika has signed an agreement with the Independence March. We are taking media patronage over the march. In fact, we have been its informal patron all along – we’ve been covering this march for years, and the Gazeta Polska Clubs take part in it. I’m sure most of you have some connection with this march in one way or another,” he said.

It’s time to formalize this relationship. TV Republika has become an official patron. We want to produce the biggest broadcast in the history of this march, to show the world what it really looks like,” he added.

Sakiewicz emphasized that the issue of independence is becoming the number one priority when it comes to Polish affairs.

Joint participation in this march is therefore very important. Republika will be with you. Republika will cover it. Of course, it’s a major effort, so we need to invest a lot into it. Let’s make it so impressive that it takes everyone’s breath away. All the more so since there’s a risk that some provocations might occur during the march. Good and reliable coverage will be the best response,” he said.
