TV Republika has sent official letters to the campaign teams of Karol Nawrocki and Rafał Trzaskowski regarding the station’s participation in organizing the debate in Końskie, scheduled for Friday at 8:00 PM, announced Tomasz Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of TV Republika, on social media.

The letters state that TV Republika has “initiated organizational steps related to our journalist’s participation in the event, as well as broadcasting the debate on our channel.”
The station requested that the campaign teams designate contact persons for coordinating technical arrangements.
“We hope that each Candidate will demonstrate openness and an understanding of democratic principles, as well as respect for freedom of speech,”
wrote Tomasz Sakiewicz.
Nawrocki Responds
This morning, Civic Platform’s presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski publicly called on his opponent, Dr. Karol Nawrocki, to take part in a one-on-one debate in Końskie on Friday, April 11.
According to niezalezna.pl, Nawrocki’s team has agreed to the debate, but “not under Trzaskowski’s conditions and not without the involvement of all media outlets.”
Around 11:00 AM, Nawrocki replied to Trzaskowski on social media, stating that he had “only one condition”:
“All television stations must be allowed to participate, including those you don’t permit to ask questions at press conferences,”
wrote the candidate.
Earlier, TV Republika had already declared its readiness to participate in the debate proposed by Trzaskowski.
Wiola Paprocka, head of Trzaskowski’s campaign, stated that “three television stations are prepared to organize and broadcast the debate.” Final arrangements are expected to be made tomorrow at noon.
