While all media outlets in Poland are focused today on the swearing-in of Karol Nawrocki as President of the Republic of Poland, the TVN24 reporter outside the Sejm didn’t seem particularly interested in the event. Instead – he was running after a member of the Border Defence Movement (ROG)!
Today, Karol Nawrocki will take the oath before the National Assembly, deliver his first address, and officially begin his five-year term as President of the Republic of Poland.
Later, during the ceremony at Piłsudski Square, Nawrocki will assume command of the Armed Forces, where he will also deliver a speech.
Since the early morning hours, thousands of people from across Poland have gathered outside the Sejm building in Warsaw to witness this historic event. Media representatives are also present – including TVN24.
TVN24 uninterested in the swearing-in
But – as captured by our reporters on the scene – the TVN24 journalist didn’t seem too interested in the actual swearing-in of the new president.
Why? Because he preferred to chase a member of the Border Defence Movement, whose representatives are also present outside the Sejm.
