UEFA’s Nations League draw on November 22 will determine playoff and knockout matchups, including Poland’s potential fight to stay in League A.
Crucial Draw Awaits Teams
This Friday, November 22, at noon, UEFA will conduct the draw for the Nations League knockout stages and relegation playoffs. Held in Nyon, Switzerland, the draw will determine quarterfinal and semifinal matchups for the top eight teams in League A, as well as the playoff pairings for promotion and relegation across the divisions.
Poland’s Path Forward
Poland’s fate hinges on their final group-stage match against Scotland in Warsaw. A win or draw secures third place in Group A1, granting them a playoff spot to maintain their League A status. A loss, however, would result in relegation to League B. Should Poland secure third place, they will be seeded, hosting the second leg of their playoff.
Upcoming Playoff Structure
The playoffs will involve 10 pairings, pitting third-placed League A teams against League B runners-up, among others. These matches are scheduled for March 2025. Meanwhile, Nations League semifinals will take place in June 2025, with the final on June 8.
