Ukrainian forces have hung on for months in Bakhmut, where the fiercest fighting in Moscow’s full-scale February 2022 invasion has killed thousands of soldiers. In an undisclosed location in the Donetsk region, a group of Ukrainian snipers held drills with sniper rifles, some using rifles provided by western partners, to polish their marksmanship.
