Ukrainian Citizen Deported After Threatening to Burn Houses in Poland

A Ukrainian citizen who, in videos posted online, threatened to set fires has been forcibly escorted and deported to Ukraine by Border Guard officers, Minister of Interior and Administration Marcin Kierwiński reported on Sunday. He will not be allowed to enter Poland for the next 10 years.

A video showing a Ukrainian citizen threatening to burn down houses if the “800 plus” program was not provided was posted on one of the online platforms. Shortly afterwards, the man was detained by Warsaw police officers. The account where the material was published has since been deleted.

On Friday, Minister Kierwiński announced that charges would be brought against the man. He added at the time that “the Warsaw Metropolitan Police are cooperating with the Border Guard, to whom a request for deportation will be submitted.”

“And here is the conclusion of the story: the Ukrainian citizen who, in videos posted online, threatened arson has been forcibly escorted and deported to Ukraine by Border Guard officers,” the Interior Minister announced on Sunday evening on X.

The Border Guard reported on X that the 29-year-old has received a 10-year ban on entering Poland and the Schengen zone.
