The University of Warsaw has claimed the top spot in the Perspektywy 2024 Higher Education Ranking. Following closely is Jagiellonian University, with Warsaw University of Technology securing the third position.
Special Recognition and Private Institutions
The Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw emerged as the best non-public institution for the 25th consecutive year. The Medical University of Białystok received the AWANS 2024 Special Award for its impressive leap from 20th to 12th place.
Ranking Criteria
Prepared by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation, the ranking includes academic and non-public institutions. It evaluates 31 indicators across seven criteria: prestige, employment of graduates, research potential, research efficiency, innovation, teaching conditions, and internationalization.
Best Technical Universities and Study Programs
Warsaw University of Technology was recognized as the best technical university, followed by AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, and Gdańsk University of Technology. The University of Warsaw leads in offering the best study programs with 19 top-ranked courses.
