URGENT: Russian missile hit the Polish embassy in Kyiv

As reported by RMF24, a Russian missile damaged the Polish embassy in Kyiv. The incident occurred during Russia’s overnight attack. No one was injured.

Defence24.com was the first to obtain the information. It was later confirmed by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MSZ), Paweł Wroński.

A fragment of the missile struck the roof of the consular section. The ceiling was pierced, and the missile ended up in the kitchen area.

The incident will not affect the embassy’s operations. On Monday, the consular section in Kyiv is expected to function normally.

The damage to the Polish embassy building resulted from Russia’s 12-hour-long assault on Ukraine. The Kremlin deployed 500 Shahed attack drones and over 40 missiles, including hypersonic Kinzhal. So far, there are reports of 4 fatalities.
