“The chief of the Warsaw police has submitted a document to the court that exposes lies and a secret police provocation orchestrated by Donald Tusk and executed by Magdalena Sroka, the chairwoman of the illegal Pegasus commission,” wrote former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro on Platform X. Below, we publish the document attached to his post.
At noon today, the Warsaw District Court began reviewing the commission’s request for a 30-day arrest warrant against Zbigniew Ziobro. The case is related to his alleged failure to appear at the hearings of the so-called Pegasus commission.
Komendant stołecznej policji przesłał sądowi dokument, który obnaża kłamstwa i ubecką prowokację zleconą przez @donaldtusk przewodniczącej nielegalnej komisji ds. Pegasusa, Magdalenie Sroce. Ziobro Discloses Documents
In documents shared on social media, the politician claimed that the “illegal commission obtained court approval for his detention not for interrogation, but as part of a blatant political spectacle.”
According to Ziobro, the police chief’s report reveals that Magdalena Sroka was fully aware of the police’s actions and understood that the court order set the date of detention, while the 10:30 AM time slot only marked the beginning of the commission’s session and did not restrict the ability to detain and bring in the witness.
He continues:
“That morning, before the commission began its session, MP Sroka informed the police that she would call a recess until noon to allow for my escorting. However, when the police brought me to the Sejm, and we were waiting to enter the session hall, the commission—contrary to prior agreements—suddenly voted for an arrest motion and abruptly ended the session. Then, in front of the cameras, these scoundrels lied, feigned outrage, and even deceived their own voters.”
According to Ziobro:
“The police memo is yet another undeniable piece of evidence that the illegal commission obtained a court order for my detention not for interrogation, but purely for political theater.”
Therefore, the commission’s latest motion—this time for an arrest warrant—is entirely baseless and leaves the court with no option but to dismiss it, he added.
“This memo also proves that the so-called commission exists solely to attack the opposition at Donald Tusk’s behest—this time by unlawfully attempting to imprison an opposition MP,” the politician concluded.
