Firefighters are battling a blaze at a warehouse hall in Tarnowo Podgórne (Poznań County). The fire was spotted shortly before 7 a.m. “More than 50 vehicles from the State Fire Service (PSP) and Volunteer Fire Service (OSP) are operating on site. Firefighters have protected an office building and several trailers. Subzero temperatures are hampering the operation,” the State Fire Service reported in an update.
At 6:36 a.m., firefighters in the Greater Poland region received a report of a fire at a warehouse building measuring 200 by 60 meters. Thirty fire crews were dispatched, along with the Operational Group of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Headquarters of the State Fire Service, the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Poznań announced on social media.

There are no reports of injuries.
According to an update issued before 9 a.m., the fire covered approximately 4,000 square meters of the hall.
Update: Larger Area Engulfed by Fire
The State Fire Service reported that “the fire currently involves the entire facility, with an area of approximately 11,000 square meters. An intensive firefighting operation is underway. More than 50 PSP and OSP vehicles are on site. Firefighters have protected an office building and several trailers. Subzero temperatures are hampering the operation.”

“After 6:30 a.m., firefighters received a report of a fire on the roof of a warehouse hall in Tarnowo Podgórne, Greater Poland Voivodeship. Firefighting operations involve numerous firefighters and vehicles. There is no threat to neighboring buildings. Operations are ongoing,” said Karol Kierzkowski, spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the State Fire Service, in his latest post.
