Nawrocki Extends Testing Invitation to Trzaskowski: “Public Has the Right to Know”
During yesterday’s debate, Karol Nawrocki, a civic candidate for president supported by PiS, made a gesture that was subsequently criticized by politicians from the “December 13 Coalition” and affiliated media outlets. The candidate addressed these comments on RMF radio.
“If this interests the public so much, then they have the right to know. I call this ‘gum.’ These are nicotine pouches. When listening to Rafał Trzaskowski constantly repeating his achievements, ‘Me, me, me, PiS, PiS,’ I took a nicotine pouch, but I’m glad this piqued the public’s curiosity,” Nawrocki explained.
“I wanted to invite Rafał Trzaskowski and our teams tomorrow to clarify this situation. Today, the public has a right to know about our health and what substances are in our bodies. Since we will both be in Warsaw tomorrow, I invite Rafał Trzaskowski to conduct tests to detect the presence of substances in our systems. We can verify if drugs are present in our bodies. This suggestion is not mine. I noticed that reputable TV channels and social networks made various insinuations. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to voters on Sunday our health status and substance levels,” Nawrocki stated.
He added, “I hope Rafał Trzaskowski, Mr. Nitras, and Mr. Tomczyk are ready for this.”
“Today, Paweł Szefernaker, head of my campaign team, will contact Mrs. Wiola Paprocka regarding this matter. Given the public’s interest, it’s worthwhile to resolve this topic seriously,” he concluded.
