“No fundraiser can handle what’s going on,” Dawid Wildstein said in an extensive post addressing the situation in the healthcare system. The columnist pointed to a “crisis on an unprecedented scale,” criticizing the government’s actions and the response of parts of the media. In his view, systemic problems cannot be resolved through social campaigns and fundraising drives.
Dawid Wildstein published a lengthy post on social media in which he referred to the current situation in the healthcare system. In his assessment, Poland is facing a “crisis on an unprecedented scale.”
The columnist argued that “poorer Poles, from provincial areas, are in fact being condemned to death due to a lack of medicines and access to services.” In this context, he was critical of the actions of Donald Tusk’s government, as well as the way some media outlets report on these issues.
In his post, he also referred to the activities of Kasia Tusk in promoting charitable fundraisers. As he noted, such initiatives are not—according to him—capable of solving systemic problems.
“It’s not about fundraisers, but about the authorities getting their act together, admitting mistakes, and starting to take action so that Poles don’t die,” he wrote.
Wildstein also touched on the activities of Jerzy Owsiak, questioning his stance on the current situation in healthcare.
The post also includes references to the ongoing political debate and criticism of some commentators and participants in public life. The author concluded with an appeal to continue spreading the content on social media.
