What about the debate before the second round? Nawrocki’s campaign sets a firm condition, recalling Trzaskowski’s words on respect

Before the second round of the presidential election, there should be a debate organized by six television stations, said Karol Nawrocki’s campaign chief, Paweł Szefernaker (PiS), on Monday. He emphasized that all Poles deserve respect.

Debate of six stations
When asked on Polsat News on Monday under what conditions Nawrocki would take part in the debate that TVP (soon to be liquidated), TVN24, and Polsat want to hold on Wednesday, Szefernaker replied that “it should be a debate of six television stations.”

“We appeal for a debate that respects everyone who watches television in Poland and has their favorite channels… a debate that does not exclude any Polish viewers,” said the PiS politician.

He stressed that “the debate should also be organized by stations like Republika, wPolsce24, and Trwam.” “Rafał Trzaskowski talks so much about respect, so we say – let’s see,” he added.

When pressed if these are non-negotiable conditions, Szefernaker said, “All Poles deserve respect.” “We will insist. We are not afraid of a debate. Karol Nawrocki participated in six debates before the first round. This will be the seventh debate of this campaign,” he stated.

Asked about the “March for Poland” that Karol Nawrocki invited Poles to attend in Warsaw on May 25, Szefernaker informed that it will proceed from Rondo de Gaulle’a to Castle Square.
