What Are Poles Afraid Of? One Concern Dominated the Entire POLL

What do Poles fear most in 2026? After the first full month of the current year, citizens’ concerns were examined in a survey conducted by the Pollster Institute. The most frequently indicated concern was rising prices.

“What are you most afraid of in 2026?” — this was the question asked of participants in a Pollster survey carried out on behalf of Super Express.

The available answers were: rising prices and cost of living; war in Poland; problems in the healthcare system; an economic crisis; something else.

Poles Fear One Thing Most… Rising Prices

It turns out that the greatest concern among Poles in 2026 is the prospect of rising prices. This answer was chosen by 38 percent of respondents.

Second place was taken by fear of the outbreak of war in Poland, cited by 28 percent of those surveyed.

Another major concern is problems in the healthcare system, indicated by 17 percent of participants. Interestingly, when asked to assess the current state of healthcare, as many as 77 percent rated it negatively. Only 16 percent of respondents expressed a positive opinion in this regard.

Concern about an economic crisis was expressed by 10 percent of those surveyed.

A small share — 2 percent — chose the answer “something else.”
