This is about the security of the Polish state – said PiS MP Mateusz Morawiecki, commenting on the fact that the president has convened the National Security Council. Meanwhile, Mariusz Błaszczak noted that it is a very good decision by the head of state.

President Karol Nawrocki has convened a meeting of the National Security Council. During the meeting, he intends to discuss, among other things, the issue of a loan for the implementation of the SAFE program, Poland’s invitation to the Council of Peace, as well as the actions of state authorities aimed at clarifying the circumstances surrounding the eastern social and business contacts of Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Speaker of the Sejm.

The president’s decision has already been commented on by opposition politicians.

In his opinion, such a move means one thing – the matter is really serious; Poles want to know the truth. MP Mariusz Błaszczak, in turn, assessed that convening the NSC meeting is a very good decision by the president.
When it comes to SAFE, we still have more question marks than answers. It is time for the governing camp to stop hiding basic facts and its intentions regarding European loans for armaments. Poland’s participation in the Council of Peace must be worked out within a consensus with the government. It is finally time to get to work – he announced.
He also added that the case of Speaker Czarzasty and his Russian connections must be clarified.
Such serious doubts concerning the second-highest-ranking person in the state cannot be brushed aside – he concluded.
