    Sport slowly returning to Poland

The first sport facilities in Poland are to be reopened on May 4th. The Polish football league is to be resumed on May 29th and the motorcycle speedway league on June 12th. Tonight, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister of Sport Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk presented the plan of resuming sporting events in Poland.

“In the second stage, we want to reopen outdoor pitches and fields. We planned this stage for May 4th, so quite soon. We will reopen small, public pitches and fields for other types of sport e.g. tennis courts, where up to six people will be able to play at the same time”, stated the Polish PM.

The Minister of Sport followed by saying:

“Reopening public pitches, even though in limited ways, will be one of the signs of things returning to normal. It is important to reopen these places as they can improve our physical and mental condition”.
