    Slovakia allows travel to Poland

Prime minister of Slovakia Igor Matovicz announced that from 6 am on Saturday travel to Poland will be possible once again. He warned against trips to the Silesian Voivodeship. From July 1 this year, 1,000 people will be able to participate in mass events.

“I can happily inform you that our key partner, neighbor and partner from the Visegrad Group, Poland, joins safe countries, where you can travel safely”, Matovicz announced at a press conference. Monaco, Faroe Islands and Montenegro have also been added to the list of safe countries next to Poland. Chief Sanitary Inspector Jan Mikas said that there will be changes in the list of safe countries, depending on the epidemiological situation. According to Matovicz, who called for attention and caution, the situation in different countries may worsen. The Slovak prime minister also announced the easing of other restrictions related to the pandemic since Saturday: the obligation to measure the temperature at the entrance to offices, including the swimming pool and wellness salons, will be lifted. Taxi passengers will be able to sit in the front seat next to the driver.
