Warsaw police officers detained a 19-year-old resident of Otwock County, suspected of issuing criminal threats against the President of the Republic of Poland. Yesterday, he was charged with these threats at the Warsaw-Śródmieście District Prosecutor’s Office and placed under police supervision. The alleged crime carries a penalty of up to three years in prison.
During the Poland-Netherlands match at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, a disturbing post appeared online. On X.com, one user uploaded a photo from a car – the image shows a pistol. “See you, Karolek,” he wrote. This was a clear threat to murder the President of Poland, so the State Protection Service (SOP) notified the prosecutor’s office.
