The official welcoming ceremony by President Klaus Iohannis was the beginning of President Andrzej Duda’s visit to Romania. Afterwards, the Presidents held face-to-face talks, followed by plenary talks of the Polish and Romanian delegations.
Andrzej Duda and Klaus Iohannis will also meet with media representatives.
In the afternoon, the Presidents of Poland and Romania will take part in the online summit of the Bucharest Nine (B-9). In addition to Poland and Romania, it includes Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia. US President Joe Biden and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will also attend the summit.
On Tuesday, the President of Poland and the President of Romania are scheduled to participate in the “Justice Sword 21” military exercise and meet with Polish soldiers participating in the exercise.
