    Duda-Biden meeting during the NATO summit

    During the NATO summit in Brussels, President Andrzej Duda held bilateral talks with the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the US President Joe Biden. As Krzysztof Szczerski, the head of the presidential Bureau of International Policy, informed, the latter was held at the request of the American side. “Poland is still an important ally of the USA within NATO, and the USA is an important ally of Poland,” he stressed.

    Szczerski pointed out that the meeting of the US and Polish presidents took place by the way of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit and the conversation concerned “Polish-American cooperation on the NATO forum, especially in the field of security on the eastern flank and the future of joint Polish-American projects in the field of military and economic security”. As he added, “the meeting with President Biden was held at the request of the American side.”

    The head of the National Security Bureau, Paweł Soloch, said that during the NATO summit in Brussels, President Duda had a few minutes’ conversation with the President of the United States.

    Earlier, President Duda also talked to the Prime Minister of GreatBritain, Boris Johnson, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

    Szczerski emphasized on Monday in an interview with Polish Radio Program 1 that there was no crisis in Polish-American relations these days.
