    26th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence ECAI 2023

    ECAI 2023, hosted in Krakow, Poland, marks a significant milestone in the world of artificial intelligence, with over 2600 scientists from across the globe convening for workshops, presentations, and discussions.


    For over four decades, the European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ECAI) has been a cornerstone event in the AI field, drawing leading researchers and experts worldwide. In a historic move, the Polish Association for Artificial Intelligence (PSSI) secured the opportunity to host ECAI, bringing it to Krakow for the first time in its illustrious history.

    ECAI 2023, chaired by Prof. Ann Nowe (Vrije Universiteit Brussels), received nearly 2000 submissions from 58 countries across six continents. With a program committee of over 2600 scientists, the conference anticipates over 1000 participants. The event, scheduled from September 30th to October 4th, will feature 30 tutorial workshops and sessions for young researchers, followed by three days of main conference proceedings at the modern ICE Conference Center, overlooking Wawel Hill.

    In addition to paper presentations, ECAI 2023 will host five distinguished keynote lectures and an industry session in collaboration with the Krakow Technology Park. Eleven AI-focused companies will showcase their innovations and participate in panel discussions.

    ECAI 2023 enjoys significant support from the City of Krakow, the Jagiellonian University, Krakow Technology Park, and AGH University of Science and Technology. Numerous esteemed institutions, including the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences and KI-PAN, have endorsed the event. The inaugural session will be graced by the presence of Jagiellonian University’s pro-rectors.

    ECAI 2023 promises to be a remarkable gathering of minds, fostering collaboration and innovation in the ever-evolving field of artificial intelligence.
