Polish masterpieces in 1:1 scale in a version made of LEGO bricks.
This time the LEGO ambassadors recreated four works of outstanding Polish artists, including the famous “Stańczyk” by Jan Matejko. The paintings can be seen at the Gallery at the Beach on Vistula Boulevards in Warsaw.
The exhibition of paintings created with LEGO is meant to popularize Polish painting, but also to present LEGO sets inspired by art, which are dedicated to adult fans.
21 people, 158,000 LEGO elements and over 400 hours to recreate the works:
– “Stańczyk”, Jan Matejko – 43 000 blocks,
– “Jewess with oranges”, Aleksander Gierymski – 15,500 blocks,
– “Indian Summer”, Józef Chełmoński – 85 000 blocks,
– “At the seashore”, Anna Bilinska-Bohdanowicz – 14 500 blocks
A classic Polish painting in the LEGO version! From 12 to 22 August at the Gallery at the Beach on Vistula Boulevards in Warsaw, you will be able to see 4 works of art recreated in a 1:1 scale.
