    UPDATE‼️ Paralympic Games in Tokyo. First medals for Poland  

    Marcin Polak and pilot Michał Ładosz won bronze at the 4000 m distance in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. This is the first medal for Poland in this event.

    After finishing third in qualifying, the red and white competed against Frenchmen Alexandre Lloveras and his pilot Corentin Ermenault in the race for the bronze medal. The Poles clocked a time of 4.07.850, while the tandem of rivals clocked 4.08.126.
     
    On the first day of the Paralympic, Dutchmen Tristan Bangma and Patrick Bos (pilot) won, while Britain’s Stephen Bate and Adam Duggleby took silver.

    UPDATE 12:45

    There is another medal won by Poles during the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Adrian Castro won the silver medal in the Group B individual sabre tournament.
     
    Congratulations to the winners of the first Paralympic medals were offered by the head of the ministry, Piotr Gliński.
     
    Congratulations to Adrian Castro, Paralympic vice-champion in wheelchair fencing and scholarship recipient of the PFN Team 100 program,” he tweeted.  Earlier, Gliński also congratulated the bronze medallists in cycling.
