This morning greeted us with more medals. Lucyna Kornobys in the shot put won a silver medal and Renata Kałuza a bronze medal in the cycling time trial. We also have more great news for you.
Tomasz Jakimczuk and Rafal Czuper won their team play quarterfinal (cl. 1-2) against representatives of the Russian Paralympic Committee 2-0, winning both doubles (3-2) and singles (3-1). So they are already sure of a medal – at least a bronze one!
The team in grades 4-5 composed of Maciej Nalepka, Krzysztof Żyłka and Rafał Lis were through to the 1/4 final. They played their game at 11:00, as did the team from grades 9-10: Patryk Chojnowski, Piotrek Grudzień, Maksym Chudzicki.
Szymon Sowiński qualified for the final in the 10 metres para-shooting (air pistol) competition. He took 6th place in it.

The bronze medal was within reach, however American Deja Young turned out to be faster by 0.01 seconds…
It was a beautiful run and a beautiful finish. Alicia did her best despite the heavy rain.
